The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International. Through the Foundation, Rotary does great work all over the world, both through grants to Rotary Clubs and to organizations fighting our common goal of eliminating polio from the globe.
We celebrate our Foundation's first 100 years in 2016-2017. Click on the image to learn more about the Foundation's centenary.
But what is the Foundation? This excerpt was taken from the Rotary Foundation website:
The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. As the charitable arm of Rotary, we tap into a global network of Rotarians who invest their time, money, and expertise into our priorities, such as eradicating polio and promoting peace. Foundation grants empower Rotarians to approach challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition with sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact.
Our District and our Clubs work hard to raise money for the Rotary Foundation. We give freely because we know that we are serving the greater good. Here are links to additional information.
